JIFF’s first and most important films list has been released

Jaipur, 19 November, 2014:- In the 7th edition of Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF),  first and most important films list has been released on Wednesday. On this occasion Founder and Spokesperson, Hanu Roj said, "Past few years international film makers have shown a great interest in movie screening in Jaipur.  Increased number of nomination of the film entry for screening has proved the curiosity. This year there have been more than 1644 entries out of which 93 films have been included in the first list of nominated films. Almost 61 movies from all over the world and 32 from India have nominated. These films would be screen in JIIF after Government permission (exemption certificate from Government of India) which is scheduled from 1st February to 5th February, 2015.

Disclosing the number of movie selected in each category he further added that 17 in feature film category, 4 in Documentary feature category, 50 in short fiction film, 7 in short documentary film and 15 in Animation film category.

Nominated feature films are:- From India Manjunath, Fandry, Bodhon (The Voyage Within), Umformung- The Transformation, M Cream and Ray and from abroad Refugiado from France, Cowboys from Croatia, The Circle from Switzerland, The Gambler from Lithuania, Toto and his Sisters from Austria, Der Prasident (A Life For Football) from Germany, Today from Iran, A Few Cubic Meters of Love from Afghanistan, The Narrow Frame of Midnight from Morocco,  Jalal's Story from Bangladesh,  ULISES Y LOS 10,000 BIGOTES from Mexico,

From many years JIFF has seen an increasing entries from South Aisa, Europe and Indian regional Cinema.
